Terms & Conditions

Orders 
Stock offered is valid as long as stock is available at the prices published at the time of ordering. The terms outlined below are important, apply to all transactions and are based upon orders which are accepted by the company. They will continue to apply to all transactions going forward unless or until modified by written agreement between us.
We only accept orders received by email to: office@cavebb.ch
Minimum order is CHF 1’000, orders below the minimum amount are subject to a CHF 25 service fee.

Prices 
Unless specified, our prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) per bottle, exclusive of Swiss VAT (8.1%) and delivery fees.

Payment 
Payment is due 10 days net or before delivery/collection by bank transfer. Any deductions will be charged. In case of non-payment, we reserve the right to cancel the order. We shall retain the title to all wines until all sums due from the buyer are paid in full. We reserve the right to register the retention of the title with the responsible authority.

Delivery/Collection Switzerland 
We delivery by Planzer Parcel, Swiss Post or carrier billed at cost. Goods are transported at your risk. Orders may be collected and paid for (cash, debit/credit/postcard, twint) in Zumikon by appointment only.

Delivery abroad
Deliveries against advanced payment can be arranged by Swiss Post to certain destinations. The collection and all customs and import duties shall be arranged and be paid for by the consignee. The goods travel at your risk.

Warranty/Acceptance
We reserve the right to sell bottles in OWC only as a whole unit.
You undertake to inspect all goods upon delivery and inform CAVE BB in writing within 8 days of any shortage or other deficiency. In the event of loss, damage or breakage, please report this immediately to the responsible freight company.
All our wines are sold at “buyer’s risk” and regrettably thus are unable to provide refunds for corked wines or otherwise imperfect conditions.

Storage 
Any wines not collected within two months of receipt of payment will be subject to the following monthly storage fees: CHF 0.10/bottle plus VAT if applicable.

Protection of minors  
By law the sale of spirits, aperitifs, and alcopops to under 18’s and wine, beer and cider to under 16’s is illegal. By placing an order with CAVE BB, you acknowledge these regulations and confirm that you are authorised to purchase.

Jurisdiction
All contracts are subject to Swiss law, the jurisdiction is Zumikon ZH.
